On exhibit until Sunday, April 28 at the Leaside Public Library: The Layers of Leaside tableau display describes, explains and interprets the cultural landscape of Leaside, in recognition of the centennial of the incorporation of the Town of Leaside (February 23, 1913). It builds on the historical periods and their themes, and displays many of the significant events, buildings, and historical association of people and places through maps, pictures and text.
